Ameer Abdullah’s girlfriend Georgia Ellenwood has been called “incredibly easy on the eyes” by another sports site, and we wholeheartedly agree! She also seems to be one hell of an athlete– competing as a heptathlete at Wisconsin. I have to admit, this Canadian native does seems pretty cool. I’m a fan of her tweets too. Here’s a sample:

Apparently Ameer Abdullah’s girlfriend Georgia Ellenwood is a solid heptathlete. For those of you who don’t know what a heptathlon consists of (like myself a few minutes ago), allow me to quickly catch you up. A heptathlon is simply the seven events of 100 meter hurdles, high jump, shot put (awesome!), 200 meter dash, long jump, javelin throw (even more awesome), and the 800 meter dash. Thanks Wikipedia!
So basically it’s a badass event, and you’ve got to be a true all-around athlete to really compete in it. Who doesn’t love those events, too? I mean, that’s like the cream of the crop of track and field events right there. Who needs pole vault and 100 meters? They’re overrated, and the 100 meter dash is so short that you can win if you get lucky with a good jump off the line.
